We like a good mix of history historical sites but not too many museums or churches. A couple key ones are good. Also, does anyone have suggestions on great local restaurants/hidden gems that aren't touristie? I love places with smaller plates where I can try a greater variety. Thanks!

looking for ideas on working in or around albufeira,only speak english but starting to learn portuguese.My question is this...there are two courses at my local college...first one teaches you to teach english anywhere in world...other is childcare ,which of these would be the most useful helping me to find work(the childcare would be on an english speaking resort at first) any ideas appreciated...little woman

We stayed in apartment 641. My wife said from the outset there was a sour, almost sewerage smell there. We ate and drank the same things. She took ill the second week and is still very ill, violently sick etc. Hasn't eaten a meal for a week, surviving on sports drinks and bed rest. Awaiting blood tests etc. Anyone else with a similar experience at CPO?

We want something cool like a Hostel or Pensao. No big tacky hotels. I have been to Sintra before but never stayed. I would prefer something close to Palacio Nacional de Sintra and bars and places to eat. Help please.

The law seems to make it difficult for the police to make any statements, but here in the UK, it is very frustrating to work out what has happened and when we will have more information.

I am coming to Lisbon for a week in June. I am planing on renting a car for 3 days. Can anyone please tell me what is the parking like in Lisbon? How much do I have to pay for 1 hour? Are there different parking zones? Is it difficult to park a car there? Is it safe ? Are there any places that I do not have to pay to park a car? Please help me!!!
