I am coming to Lisbon for a week in June. I am planing on renting a car for 3 days. Can anyone please tell me what is the parking like in Lisbon? How much do I have to pay for 1 hour? Are there different parking zones? Is it difficult to park a car there? Is it safe ? Are there any places that I do not have to pay to park a car? Please help me!!!

You will arrive and see for yourself. But parking is generally chaotic as in any capital, even though I've seen worse. I can't really tell you how much you'll have to pay for the parking but I can tell you it'll be expensive, although you probably won't care that much since you'll be on a vacation. Yes, there are different parking zones. Safety is relative: you could be unlucky but normally you'll be fine. Finally, yes, there are still places where you won't have to pay to park the car, but you'll have to look for them.

Take my advice and do not rent a car for your time in Lisbon. What you save on the rental cost and parking, you can spend on cabs, although public transport is excellent and very cheap.
