We are planning a cruise in the fall and I am trying to narrow down which route we take based on the stops in Italy. What would be the must see ports in your opinion and why. Any cool websites that have a lot of information would be greatly appreciated.

Also what about hotels? Is it better to book through a tour group or to do it myself? How do I know where to stay and if I should move from hotel to hotel? Any and all advice would help. Thanks!

I know some hotel nearby Hoan Kiem lake like Hang Trong hotel in Hang Trong str, Zephil hotel in Ba Trieu str, Sofitel hotel in Ngo Quyen str, Youth Hotel in Luong Van Can str and Hilton hotel in Tran Nhan Tong str. Can you realize any more hotel that is closer than these?

i am searching for somthing exiting and wonderful. I love to serve so if it has nothing to do with dance that is ok. I will be using the pass in italy for venice-milan or vice versa. then milan to bologna. Then bologna to rome. Then a week or two, i will be in france, i will use it again from the airport to the train staion and to strasbourg and back to paris. Is it worth it? And just to ask if i can use the eurail pass in the buses in paris? I know i can use it in the metro's right? Im kinda confuse. Please help!
