You can use the TGV, but there is a €4 supplement you have to pay for TGV in France, and €10 for international TGV. You can take the ICE and the S-bahn (except in Berlin) on the pass with no additional payment. You can't use it on the U-Bahn.

You had better check with BRITRAIL. If you haven't BOUGHT a copy of EUROPE BY EURAIL then you had better buy one.. along with the Thomas Cook railroad timetable or you will WISH you had. Your TRAVEL AGENT can tell you what the latest rules are for which countries you can travel to on the pass.
