i think after 10-15 years turkey can enter eu
fisrt of all the overnment should make some reforms
but unfortunately this is not the real reason
turkey has a better economy than bulgaria, but she is not taken in, just because of religion and different policies such as cyprus and so on...

Nope! Turkey is not a European country. Most of it is in Asia/Middle East. Plus, their standards of living and their political situation (human rights and so on) is way too different from what should be and what I hope the "European" standard is... Plus: Yes, a "European Union" is nice, but if you're inviting every country in the world to join it, than the term "european" is kinda unnecessary. In the end, Russia will want to join it, too! Geez, people, get real!

No, because Turkey is not entirely in Europe. So, what kind of European Union will be that which includes part of Asia? (Middle Est). And the border with Iran? Common, get real!

Turkey is a very big country with a very low standard of living and education compared to the rest of Europe. This will create huge problems if it becomes a memvber of the EU. In addition, there are serious human rights and democracy issues, with the army playing an important role in politics. Because of those factors and of her past, Turkey has a serious problem with neighbouring countries, members of the EU, and she refuses to comply with UN and EU decisions on those matters. And it is certain that she will not comply in other matters either, because it will be impossible. So objectively, I don't think it would be good for the EU to accept Turkey.

If there were something like an "Asian Union", do you really believe that "they" would want any of the EU countries within their community ?.....

No, I don't need Europe.
We are strong, proud, and we will get a better economy without their help...
And Europeans don't even deserve us !
