The older generation of an example, the French, have so much Pride in their own country and don't really like the U.S. at all. But why are the younger generation like the French Teens so crazy about the U.S.? I'm American and my cousin from Belgium loves wearing American clothes, American movies, American music...etc? How come this sudden change just happened? Why did the French go from hating the U.S., and now the teens are in love with the US?

I want to travel to Paris and then visit London, Barcelona and Rome to return to Paris. 20 days starting 5th February 2008 to 25th of th same month. Is the weather too bad in this date? rain, snow, storms? I'm really concern because I dont want to spend in a very expensive airplane ticket and have a bad flight and have to beeall day in a hotel, I really want to know the museums, parks and everyhing of the cities.
I'm concern about the danger of the flights inside europe, is February a good option or just a waste of money?

I'm studying abroad winter semester in Paris, and I would like to visit Italy as well. I was thinking that I would fly into Milan, and then I would like to see Venice, Florence, and Rome. I noticed that it was somewhat expensive to take the train to these various cities. What is the best way to travel from city to city? Does anyone know of a good website to find train tickets? Also, where is the best place to stay, certain hotels? I'm still new to all of this.

I plan on teaching english to make some extra money once i complete the TEFL course in Spain.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever used the IYTC (international youth travel card) or the Eurail passes to save money while abroad.

The Eurail pass seems to be worth the time and money, but is the IYTC card worth buying?

I'm studying abroad in Spain next semester. While I'm there, I'd also like to visit Italy and Paris. I was wondering, what steps do I take so that I will be able to visit those two places as well? I've heard that you can get really cheap plane tickets in Europe. Do you recommend flying or taking the train? If you don't know anyone that's going, do you travel alone? What steps do you take so that you'll be able to "sight see" while you're there?
