Do not expect motorcycle rental to be cheap, but a lot depends on where you rent and what you rent. And it might depend on how long you have had a motorcycle license too.
You know our road system is different to yours, get used to riding in a quiet area before hitting the highway in peak hour, but I am sure that if you are an experienced rider you will enjoy the trip.

Maybe a little late, but if you still want to visit Europe on a motorbike, or if there are others interested - you could start your trip in Transylvania (Romania) in the city of Cluj Napoca.
