Next Summer i'm flying to Paris and we want to go to Rome by train, also what class should I travel in?

You can travel second class, as it arrives at the same time as the first class does. It does cost about 60% of a first class ticket.

Best go to the station or a site and ask for a ticket, the time you leave will dictate which route you take, (if there are several routes posible.)
For train travel in and out of France you can use this website:

You can also look for a ticket for the slower trains, valid 2 months, so you can stop underway.
Or a rail pass, (in this case a France-Italy pass) but do check the cost against the cost single tickets, as these passes are not always cheaper.

If you are not yet 26 you can get a reduction on the normal price for an international ticket, and sometimes also for longdistance tickets within one country.
