I'm thinking of saving up about 15 g's and moving to Europe. I chose England mainly because of the similar language. Would it be easy for me to get a job? If does not matter to me what kind of job, just anything that would allow me to live. Is this even possible? Can people just get up and move to another country and kind of 'wing it' till you find a job? I currently live in the US by the way.

I am 16 now and my aunt said that she will take me anywhere in the world once I am 17. Originally I was leaning towards New Zealand, Vietnam, India or Japan, but recently I have taken an interest in Eastern Europe. I would like to go during the winter, because I love the snow, but would that be sensible? I don't want to go on a vacation and not be able to do anything because of inclement weather.

Anyway, the cities/countries I've been considering are:
Zurich, Switzerland (I know, technically western Europe)
Vienna, Austria
Croatia
Budapest, Hungary
Prague, Czech Rebublic
Poland
Amsterdam, Netherlands (again, not eastern)
Sofia, Bulgaria

Would these locations be, well, safe for a 17 year old girl. I don't want to sound stereotypical, but I know that some of these nations have legal prostitution and can be violent at times. Also, would you consider someone of my age to enjoy a trip like this, or do you think it may be more suited for someone a bit older?

I'm going to Turkey in January and I'm wondering what it is like there, food, culture, etc. Also, my parents recently redid our house and my mom wants something to put in the house as a decoration, but I have no idea what Turkey is known for. Art? Rugs? Any advice from people who have been there or know about the country would be much appreciated!

It's not fair, they get to go all over the region, country by country in an economic way and we're stuck here paying huge fees to go from one city to the next? At least a state rail or something, it's not fair, they have it so much better over there, we're getting screwed over here, big time. The United states of Europe are way better off than the United States of America. I know the region's, landwise is a lot bigger but if they could do it, we could too

I myself, do not know because i have never there before. But most people that have been there, have all told me that France is overrated, and have called their people 'boring'.

For all those people who have been to France and other countries, what do you think ?
