My family and I are leaving for Luxembourg in a few weeks. We did one of those Expedia deals where you pick the date but you don't find out the airline until you pay. Well they have us doing a connection flight. So it's Boston to Zurich, then Zurich to Amsterdam (this is where our family said they could pick us up). But it seems that it would be easier for them to pick us up in Zurich and we wouldn't have to do the layover, but Expedia is saying they can't cancel the connection flight and that if we don't show up our flight home will be cancelled. Is there any way around this??

I love travel and exercise so I thought that when I graduate from college in 3 years, I can combine my two passions by bicycling across Europe for awhile. I'll need money while I'm traveling so what's the best way to pay for the trip? I don't really have any money saved up right now and I'd rather not work during school because I just don't have the time.

Hello. I'm trying to get an item shipped from Slovakia to a US address. The other party in Slovakia insists that there's no postal insurance available in Slovakia. Some carriers like DHL might be too expensive, so I want to use postal system. Does someone know if this is true? Thanks.

I personally don't like to ride bicycle on busy streets because I don't want to get hit by cars and don't like to inhale dirty air. Some people obsessed with riding bicycles like to cite the examples of Copahagen and Amsterdam as what cities should be designed. How common is bicycling in Europe or China? and how safe? What about the pedestrians? Are pedestrians in those cities safe from careless and aggressive bicyclists?
