Which resorts on Crete are the noisiest in the summer. Centres for 18-30 holidays. The Faliraki of Crete . I enjoy the quieter atmosphere of village life in Greece and would hate to choose the 'wrong' village.

hi im planning to go to Corfu in september and i was thinking whether any of you who have been there or live there can give me some info. what to do there, where to go, shopping, prices, how to get around. im 17, from Malta, and i'll be going with a group of friends and i dont really like to spend my holidays at museums and ancient places. i'd also like to visit places where there isnt an infestation of turists, if you know what i mean. thanks :)

I want to go on holiday soon. I'm considering going to the Deluxe Vasia Beach Hotel & Spa in Crete and I just want to know if my skin colour (I'm about Naomi Campbell's complexion) will pose a problem to the people there. The resort looks amazing but I don't want to go somewhere where I'm stared at and looked down upon. Thanks!

I am student teaching in Greece for 3 months, and one of the teachers at my host school said that I could live with her in her house b/c she has a big house with extra rooms.

We have not discussed rent yet, but I'm wondering how much I should offer to pay? Or should I just wait and let her request a certain amount? I'm not sure what is customary in Greek culture in this type of circumstance?
