The room at Grande Bretagne is about 260 Euro per night. It is one of the best and most expensive hotels in Athens. You can go to www.grandebretagne.gr for more.
But there are much more reasonable hotels. Avoid the area around Omonia square though, it is not a very nice area. Check out www.periscope.gr, that's a very nice hotel in a very nice area, with good shopping, museums, and near the metro station. It is a little uphill from the metro, but there is also a bus stop nearby.
