There are too many hotels already in Greece and I would hate to see more. I am sure there are plenty for sale as well. You just have to find a good, trustworthy realtor AND an attorney and have plenty of cash and time to devote to the project.
Having said that, I have discovered in my sailing adventures the ideal location for a whole development including a hotel. I would not be willing to disclose it unless I can make sure that the place will be developed with ecological and traditional sensitivities. Write to me personally if interested,

Greece is the "best small united states interior the international". Henry Miller mentioned that, not I and Henry made an exceedingly precise commentary. Greece has stunning Islands and that they are categories of islands besides. Over 3000 of them. The mainland has some somewhat indescribable beauties, too many to indicate. What you have here as comments are all human beings's own favorites and what you're able to do is to get a image e book out of your library, look via it with a map of Greece next to you and notice for your self what places you desire to bypass to. acquaintances of mine bypass to Greece as quickly as each and every 3-4 years and create a different itinerary each and every time. Meteora, Santorini, Meganisi, Corfu, Rhodes, Halkidiki, Crete, Kos, Delphi, Nafplio, Monemvasia, Ksanthi, the Evros Delta, Gianena, Pilio, Lake Plastira, Galaxidi, Hydra, Zagorohoria, Thasos.... How is this for a beginning?

Crete is the biggest island of Greece and more than 3 million tourists visit it each year.
If you want to buy a hotel in Crete, you should check with the real estate agencies. There are always hotels for sale and you won't have much trouble to find the right one.

I live in Greece and wouldnt advise buying any kind of property here its a total rip off and the paper work and all the running around you have to do is another story.
About buying a hotel, well here is sight for you to read up on (although its on buying houses and property but im sure the procedure is the same). And if youre a foreignor youll just get ripped off.SO BE CAREFUL.
