Our family is moving to Belguim in April of this year.Although I'm excited to go I don't know much about that country.I've looked on the net but unfortunately not a whole lot of info was given.Anyone ever lived there? If so please let me in on some of the laws and fun stuff to do.Also I would like to know about shopping conditions (as in food shopping).

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I want to go away this summer, for a week in early June. We've been looking at Albufeira, but some people have told us it's too much like Benidorm and really tacky, whereas others loved it, so we're a bit confused!

Just to give you an idea of what we want:
1. Hot weather (around 27 degrees C maybe)
2. Good beaches
3. Good nightlife and restaurants
4. At least SOME opportunity to see the sights of a more authentic Portugal, away from the resort
5. Activities and day trips, like zoo, tours, theme park, etc
6. Busy but not absolutely rammed
7. Not full of 'rowdy, bald-headed, beer-bellied, trouble-making English tourists' (that's my boyfriend's input....)

So we just wondered if anyone has been there and if it sounds like a) the right destination for us and b) if we're going at the right time of year (in terms of weather and how busy it is)

Thanks so much! :-)

xx Emmie

I'm going to Europe in May, and can go anywhere I want. But since I've never been anywhere outside of London and Paris, I was thinking it would be nice to go somewhere a little more unique. South of France? Scotland? Ireland? Portugal? Milan? Some small obscure village?

Any and all ideas welcome...any detail would be great. Thanks!!

Our travel adviser told us to be very careful because street crime has been a real problem lately. We are going in April and will have a driver, but does anyone know particular areas to avoid, or particular areas that have good security?

I'm leaving for Europe in one month, on teh 5th of April, to be exact. I am a 16 year old student, do you have any suggestions as to what I should look for, or where I should visit? I ma going to be in London the first three days, take the chunnel train to Paris for 3 days, and an overnight train to be in Madrid the last three days, and I will also visit Toledo for part of one of these days....so yeah. England, France, and Spain...=)

Any suggestions? thanks!
