3 years ago, wife and 2 kids, cheap restaurant, 1 Pizza, 1 bottle of beer, 3 x water £37.00!!!!
Another night- 2 burgers, 2 kids size tagliatelli, 2 x juice, 2 beers. £45.00! In a bar.

Eating is VERY expensive. Best to hop on the free bus to Ikea from city centre and eat there, just a bit dearer than UK. Otherwise nice city, friendly people. I lived there for a while in the 60's, went back for a look, and to find some old friends.

Oslo is a good choice for a weekend break. Its very popular with tourists, lotsa tourists attractions, good scandivanian food.Accomodation may seem expensive coz cost of living there is rather expensive but if the price ure payin puts u in a good location ( the hotel ) where its close to everywhere then its worth it, coz u can save on transport.Only way to visit a place is always by foot.U can google wer to go online & places that interests u.A must see is the Vigeland Park is the city’s most visited attraction, a vast green area of duck ponds, trees and lawns that is a monument to the celebrated Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland, who spent 40 years creating the life-size statues that decorate the walkways and open spaces. There are more than 200 works presenting the human form in a variety ... have fun!

tips from norway's neighbours.. :o)
