just like in any other country there are people with this quint of idea's but certainly no more that in any other country

The racist and nationalist people could go up to 30% in Belgium. Especially members of the Vlams Belang party are almost openly racist. This is because Belgians tend to see foreigners as the main source of problems in their countries. Unfortunately they are not seeing how much foreigners contributed to their country and how much they continue to do.
Luckily reasonable Belgians are still majority and Belgium is a very tolerant place to live for a foreigner. I had spend some time in Germany and it was a living hell.

As in all developed country there are a lot of immigrants in Belgium. This was Ok until the economy started tp recede.and Belgians started being laid off. They unjustly blamed the immigrants for the lay offs: immigrants perform jobs which Belgians do not want to do, just like Mexicans in California. On top of the largest part of the immigrants are Marrocans (Islamites) and the difference in religions also caused problems. In order to keep things peaceful, the government has given more and more facilities to the immigrants BEFORE the Belgians. This in turn has generated the apparition of extremist political parties who are all in favour to give priority to the "real" Belgians , like in other countries (France-Austria).

Especially in Antwerp. In Belgium, racist ideas are not accepted by law. So, there are racist people but they don't show it because they don't want to have problems. Belgian people becomes racist because there are lot of immigrants coming here without visas or papers and they can go for free in hospitals but the Belgian people has to pay for hospital ! Also, lot of immigrants simulate their feelings and want to marry with an Belgian to have papers. Once they have papers, they make problems to the girl to divorce.

There not so much Belgian people in Belgium, it's very full here with immigrants, no wonder that government allows immigrants to vote to get more votes.
Belgian people move away out their own country, Why?Well look at the news we here have no rights anymore and we are fed up with that.

Belgium and ideas just do not correlate. Belgium is an assinine and asexual country with a bland countryside and even blander people. Visit at your peril.
