Our family is moving to Belguim in April of this year.Although I'm excited to go I don't know much about that country.I've looked on the net but unfortunately not a whole lot of info was given.Anyone ever lived there?If so please let me in on some of the laws and fun stuff to do.Also I would like to know about shopping conditions (as in food shopping).

2 major leagues : vlaams ( dutch ) and frans ( french ) and also a little group of duits ( German ) speaking people in the east of Belgium. Most people do speak Engels certainly the younger generations and the certainly the Flemish people
But it is certainly appreciated that the people who come to live in the country do a effort to learn the leagues
about food don't worry Belgium is know as a Burgundian country with plenty good food and restaurants
shopping there are everywhere general stores and around the major city's there larger choppingmall

nope. never been there but i no a little. Southern people of Belgium is populated by "Walloons" which are French speaking Belgians. Northern Belgium is populated with "Flemmings" who speak Dutch. It's sposed to have a beautiful landscape
