I know that Cuba and the United States has not, seen eye to eye for many years,it's just that I have read many interesting things about Cuba.I know that it is a communist country, and many things can happen in a nation where the majority of people are Mulatto, which
makes it interesting.Color in countries like Cuba,Santo Domingo(now Dominican Republic)and Puerto Rico does not really matter, political status matters more to these people, rather than ethnicity/race.People in Cuba are use to mixing with in the races for centuries, which is something America is just starting to get use to.

I would love to hear from Cuban-Americans from the age of 35 or younger. We all already know what the old crow think.

Cuba??? HELP please.?
I am going on a vacation to Cuba with friends and we don't know where to stay. (Cayo Coco, Veradero or where?)

Has anyone been there, if so where? We would like a fun resort with a night life and good food and a nice beach. Has anyone got any ideas? Where did people have a good time? Any specific resort?
(we are in Canada)

Thank You.

I'm going to a resort in Cuba for a week, and first off, I don't know how much money to bring since it's all-inclusive. Secondly, I don't know where to exchange my money. Should I do it at a bank before I go? I heard you can exchange money in the resort but some hotel staff might not give you a fair exchange and you might get ripped off. I don't know what the best way to go about doing this is. Also, do they take Canadian money there? Also, for the departure tax -- it's apparently $25 -- is that pesos or American? Thanks!

I've booked 2 weeks in Cuba in June 2007 for our honeymoon and am looking a bit of feedback from people who have been there and any hints for making my time there more enjoyable.

Hi there!

I am going to Varadero for a week and I don't know where to go clubbing there. I know it's not considered a major party city, but any advice would be much appreciated. In fact, I'm going for New Year's Eve, so any specific recommendations for that night, in particular, would be very helpful as well.

Many thanks! :)
