+ It depends on where you are. If you can drive to Canada, you can get them there. Otherwise Mexico? same thing. If you are in just about any other country you can get them just not in the US yet.

Well there is no "cheap" way unless you live right at the US/Canadian boarder, and even then your limited to what you can bring back.

There are some Cigar websites in Britain or Canada that maybe can import some here at a decent price (by Cuban standards).

Personally, Cubans are not what they were. All the great cigar masters have left. A cigar is like a wine, some years better than others. Castro really doesn't have anything else to export, so even if a cigar yield for a year is only decent at best, they still smack a Partagas, Montecristo, or Cohiba label on it and charge a premium price because it's from Cuba.

Cubans have always been known as a "heavy bodied" cigar. If that's what you like, then the Dominican and Nicaragua are the 2 closest in quality.

Contrary to what was previously written it is NOT illegal to bring Cuban Cigars into the US. However they must be brought into the US by a Cuban returning from Cuba and they can bring back a maximum of 20 cigars per person.

I have a friend who is Cuban and brings them back for me whenever they go to visit there parents.

Cheapest way - go to any border town in Mexico and get them. Bear in mind that once you buy them, you may NOT bring them home, you must smoke them in Mexico.

It is illegal to bring Cuban products into the US.
