I was in Varadero last January...the 8th to the 15th. The days were warm/hot and sunny and most evenings were nice...but...2 evenings were very cool and windy. The wind was blowing thru the open air lobby and it was too cold to sit in there..even with sweaters on. The swimming pools were ice cold...barely seen anyone in the pool the whole week.. The ocean was much warmer than the pools. But....I still managed to get a pretty good sunburn on the catamaran tour.
