There is nothing in Cayo Coco other than 7 resorts and the Jardines Del Ray Airport. The resorts on the island offer quite a few trips either by bus or boat. When I was there at the beginning of December, we did the Moron by Boat trip for 30.00 Convertible Cuban Pesos. They took us by bus to the boat and we went across the largest lagoon in Cuba. From there we went into the city of Moron, nothing overly exciting. There is approximately 65,000 people in this city and it is home to most of the staff of the resorts...no one lives in Cayo Coco. There were no children begging and only a few adults...watch out for an elderly lady. She hangs around the El Rapido Restaurant...she will hunt you down for a peso. From there we went to an Alligator Farm and then back to the resort. Don't got to Moron if you are looking for souvenirs...they sell them at a better price on the resort or at duty free in the airport
Have a great trip!
