I'm Canadian (from Toronto) and I've been living in California for the past few years. I'd really like to move back. Can anyone tell me how the job market is over there? I work as an executive/ administrative assistant. Is that an in-demand job right now? I also have my licensing to work as a dental assistant. How much do they take away in taxes? Its just me and my 2-year old son.... Any advice is appreciated! :)

I will just pick up and leave. I dont know the area and would like to know of areas that are not "bad" areas , but are least expensive to live in, at least until I can find a descent job. Also, can you tell me if I need a passport to go live in Canada or can I just go as an american? I would appreciate any honest, good information you can give me. I plan on leaving by the end of this month. Thanks for your time. Family matters are main reason I need this change. Peace.

I live in India and my agent told me 2.5-3 years, that seems like an awfully long time. Can it be done successfully throught the net? Or will hiring a lawyer speed up the process? Is it possible at all to complete the process in less than 1.5 years?

I'm traveling with my hubby and two sons next Monday. We're flying from Calgary, arriving in TO at 7:45 pm at terminal 1, then flying out of terminal 2 headed to Orlando at 8:55pm. I'm concerned about the connection time - is 70 minutes long enough to change terminals, retrieve our baggage from the first flight, go through US customs and be on the plane in time for the second flight?? Has anyone personally taken this flight in the past and can offer advice?
Thanks!

I plan on getting married begining of next year, however I fear that moving to Canada will be very different. I've visited Toronto many times in my life, but never lived there. I'm worried that it will be a huge change for me. If anyone has done this or knows of anything that I should know before moving please help me out. Thanks
