What shoes should I be wearing in Toronto? I am moving from Dublin and have a pair of suede tan boots and a pair of converse sneakers. Will this be enough?

And what about clothes???

Hi... I have come to Canada for short visit. I want to do some online shopping but have faced problems because most of the stores do not accept international credit cards. Please tell me some alternative fast methods. Which is better? Bank drafts or Money order? Are money orders safe?

My husband and I are relocating to Canada, but we're having a tough time settling on where to go. I was thinking of somewhere in the Greater Toronto area, but I'm not sure whether we can afford it. Is it at all reasonable to find a 2 bedroom aparment that accepts cats, which is in a safe area, near to public transport and isn't falling apart? For under $900 without utilities, or $1K with. I've seen some online in Etobicoke and Scarborough, but it's quite hard to decide from pictures alone.

Hi, me and my husband are thinking about moving from Europe(Canadians) to Toronto in January but we really don't know that neighbourhoods to look for an apartment. We want something central or at least close to a metro station and close to things like shopping, restuarants, gym, etc. If anyone knows any particular buildings that would be even better. Or even good rental websites. Thanks. Oh looking for a one bedroom, between $600 and $1000 utilities included.

They sell milk in bags in Canada. Why is this?
My aunt and uncle live in Toronto, and we usually go to the grocery store with them when we visit, and I notice that all of the milk is in bags. The store we went to had a small selection of milk in cartons but most was in bags, and they sell plastic milk pitchers that the bags fit in.

I think it's one of the only countries that does this, unless it's some sort of regional Ontario thing? I notice some of the bags leak alot, so I was just wondering what the benefits of the bags are, over jugs or cartons?

I know this isn't really related about Travel, but I would assume Canadians would look here to answer people's Canada travel questions.
