Hello from Toronto!! There are such places that rent furnished apartments for one week or longer. All you have to do is go to search and type in Toronto, Canada furnished apartments short term stay. You will get a bunch of locations!!
Downtown, or uptown. Uptown is less expensive. Look into areas such as Yonge and St.Clair or north of St.Clair. Nice areas and alot cheaper, than downtown.

There are apartment hotels where you can rent a place by the day or by the week or for as many days as you like .Do a google search for Apartment Hotels in Toronto, Make sure you click off Canadian sites only. Mind you they are not cheap but they are furnished and have an equipped kitchen so you can get your own meals.
