Hi... I have come to Canada for short visit. I want to do some online shopping but have faced problems because most of the stores do not accept international credit cards. Please tell me some alternative fast methods. Which is better? Bank drafts or Money order? Are money orders safe?

I don't know where you are in Canada and where you are shopping that do not accept international cards. They must be local cards from Europe or some place like that as all services take cards from Mastercard/Visa/Amex
A money order is very safe. a bank draft is a few dollars more and is drawn from a particular bank, money orders you can get at cheque cashing places(money mart),CAA(emergency roadside assistance ) so money orders are easier to get and are safe, you get to write the name of the person or service on the money order, for a draft the bank will actually imprint the name for you but you have to know the name you are giving it to at the time of purchase, money order is better as you will have it in hand and at the time you know who you are paying you put the name on. Happy shopping

They don't accept international credit cards? How strange. Most stores accept VISA/American Express/Mastercard, etc. As for Bank drafts or money orders, my understanding is that someone would need to send you one.
If you have someone abroad who can send you money, have them use a company such as "MoneyGram". They pay the money, and you can pick it up at any MoneyGram location (most Canada Post outlets will cash it for you).

Try Traveller's checks. I'm not sure where you could buy them in your situation but most stores will accept them. I'd try a few different banks (such as TD, RBC, CIBC) or some exchange offices. Possibly Thomas Cook can help you:

Since they deal in foreign currency, it may be easier to buy traveller's checks from them. Try www.yellowpages.com for addresses:

The King Street one is probably easiest to get to because its right downtown.
