bring lots of clothes for you, your wife and your baby.
canada is a cold place, and i'm sure it would be chilling by january when you get there.

If you will be arriving in January, most parts of Canada will be cold at that time. Bring winter clothing, warm coats, boots and long pants. All these are available in stores here, but if you have them, bring them with you.
Are you bringing household items with you when you emigrate? Remember that electrical items from Europe will not work here.
If you will be renting an apartment or a house, you will need at least the first & last months rent to get a place to live in.

You're going to need to bring your immigration documents. If you're sponsoring her, then you'll need to prove that. If neither of you are from Canada, you may have a tough time of it, so check with the embassy first.
