can u tell me when air india improve them selves????/???bec every month their plan get accident some times tire is flat some times one engine is fired ?when last week i came from torontothe air indias left engine broke down but after 35 min the pilot landed safely?and save 289 passengers lifes..pilot said why not the government thow in junk these planes ???????????????????????????????????????????????/

Air India's fleet of airlines is quite old -- they have been buying the old airplanes that other carriers are selling - -recently, for instance, Air India purchased planes from Korean airways. You're quite right about their poor service, and it's a shame that their fares are not competetive. The airline should be divested, in my opinion.

My next door neighbor and her son died in the Air India crash 20 years ago. The husband still lives there.

You said "Air India " ...???
It will NEVER improve....Never ...
Your flight ...only one engine broke down..lucky you...!! In gulf area...it will be grounded for 2-3 days after issuing the boarding passes...
...the situation is JUST pitiable...
Nobody wants Air India..nowadays...
They have started stopping many direct flights...from gulf to kerala because of lesser number of passengers..prefering that..
May god help us..
