Toronto is an ok town. The CN tower is well worth a look and the shopping is great especially if you are coming from the UK as the pound is so strong at the moment. Niagra is well worth the visit. An amazing natural beauty. the nearby town of Niagra on the lake is very pretty and lots of the local vineyards do wine tasting.

As for things to do whilst you are there in the evening. plenty of good restaurants and bars. live bands in lots of places too.

I am guessing from your name that you are a guy so why not check out a couple of the lap dancing bars while you are there.

I fly to Canada a lot from the UK and I have to say all the Canadians I have met have been great so if you get stuck for something to do just ask someone!!

Have fun

Depending on where you are from, don't buy any winter clothes until you get to Toronto. Clothese there are designed for their winters! Having said that, last winter was especially mild.

Lots to do in and around the city, Niagara Falls is very beautiful, although the town itself is very tacky and touristy. Sty until evening and you will see the falls lit up.

Go to the Skydome and to the CN Tower in Toronto, also go to the new ice hockey stadium if you can. There is also a great concert hall, and an open air skating rink by the city hall.

There's also a place called St Jacob's near to a town called Kitchener, if you get a chance go there as this is a big farmer's market and you will meet old-fashioned people called Mennonites (like Amish)

I went to Toronto a few years ago and I don't remember it to be really expensive. The Niagara falls are defintely something you want to see. However I did not really enjoy myself while I was there... I was young but still did not have that much fun...

Any time of year - Toronto is a Pain - however in January it is pure HELL. If you want a trip in January - go to La Jolla, California.
