How come when you hear of a crime in toronto these days, its usually a black person commiting it?
growing up in toronto in the 80s/90s, i had no idea that there was ever a stereotype of blacks being criminals...every murder i heard of in the late 80s/early 90s in toronto was either commited by a white/italian maffia or a chinese gang. i remember hearing alot about asian gangs in toronto growing up but nothing about blacks even though statscan shows that there was almost as many blacks in toronto in 1991 as there is now.

then why now are so many murderers black in toronto? is it the influence of gangsta rap? i rmember rap in the 80s but it seemed so innocent and light-hearted compared to todays cop-killer lyrics.

so basically im asking...why so many white and asian killers then, and so many black ones now even though the demographics have hardly changed?

I would like to invite a woman in China I am corresponding with to visit Toronto. She will not be coming as a business person or a student, only as a tourist. I hope to allow her to stay with me. I would pay for her airfare. Has anyone actually had any experience with this? What are the steps? How easy and how long is the wait for approval if granted?

How difficult would it be to find work in Halifax? Specifically in information technology software testing? We are from Los Angeles and we are thinking of moving to Halifax. My husband is a software tester and was not sure what the job market would be like in Halifax? Another community we have heard about, but know nothing about is Bedord Nova Scotia. I have tried searching it on Microsoft Streets and Trips but it shows the directions going threw the US form Michigan then back into Canada threw Washington State. but I need directions that don't have to go into USA, only threw Canada probably on the Trans Canada Highway. I know it shows it threw Canada on the Streets and Trips because it is quicker to drive to BC from ON threw USA but I need to get there threw Canada. Any idea where I can get driving directions? or maybe configure Streets and Trips to only give directions threw Canada?

I live in Canada and every american cartoon I watch, they ether insult canada in it or say bad things about us. We don't hate you americans but all this bad media against us, we start to think of you guys of jerks.
