8.5 hour drive to Sydney Nova Scotia, 6 or 7 hour ferry to Port aux Basques, Newfoundland.

where in Newfoundland?
It's about an 8 hour drive to the ferry
about 6-7 hours on the ferry if you get on right away(make a reservation)
about 4 hours to Deer lake or
about 5 hours to Corner Brook or
About 7 1/2 hours to Gander or
About 12 to St.John's
