Hi,
I am travelling in a group of 10 adults and 3 children. I will arrive in Banff by a rail tour. However, I am wondering if there are any land transport (eg buses or coaches) to bring us back from Banff to Vancouver as a group? And if yes, how long is the journey?

Going by Greyhound is a 15 hour trip that would cost as follows:

$120 each adult
$ 15 each child age 5-11

It might be worth it to rent a Van and drive if you have people in your group with Drivers Licenses willing to do so.

Or, you might check into a private van or small bus with driver, not sure of what companies may do this, but I would imagine there are some.

Here are some links to other alternatives:

There are buses going every day, Greyhound would be a good choice. It will probably be around a 9 or 10 hour drive. Try greyhound's website, search it under google and it will have all the info!
Enjoy Vancouver!

You could probably go Greyhound. A train ride through the rockies is very pricey. It would probably be a 20 hour ride on the bus though. If you're willing to pay the price for a flight then definitely do it. A flight down probably won't cost much more than Greyhound. It sounds like you're looking to sightsee the rockies so probably you should use greyhound.
