Hi there, Im 23 years old and have decided to move to Australia in April next year. My only problem is i cant decide where? I have an Aunty in Perth who i could stay with and set up when i first go? I also have family on Gold coast i could sort of do the same with? But then from searching the net job opportunties are better in Brisbane? Also it would be cheaper to fly back to NZ regulary from Brissy/Goldcoast etc? Im quite outgoing and really looking at getting out there and meeting people. My area of job looking would be admin/personal assitant, also any type of insurance work type areas? Any comments would be appreaciated and will help alot....Thanks. Ps: am also wanting to look at investing/buying property there?

We are flying out from NZ in January and in the meantime I hope to find employment; I have heavy traffic licences (NZ) but no experience on a mine site. I am willing to try anything; we have a child also and any advice on primary schooling and suburbs in Perth would also be appreciated.

Hello, I really want to go to Tullamarine airport aka Melbourne airport (YMML) and take some pictures of planes. Most likely from the surrounding areas of the airport, is this illegal in Australia?

hi i'm moving to australia but still can't decide where to go..i'm looking for a place that has nice beaches like perth but also some forests. something like a mix between cairns and perth??
also it would be nice if it had a low cost of living and plenty of work in building trades or construction.
thanks ;)

Hi people. I left Nelson nz, for brisbane australia for a quick work conference last night (just got back to nz).

The city is stupid. What is wrong with it. All the houses are old and wooden and country like, yet there in a city. The traffic is horrendus. I went to the suburb called stones corner. Went for a quick lunch time walk in the park and nearly got mugged. At around 12 i had finished my quick morining conference, and before i got back on the plane to nz, i thought i would go for a drive up to redcliff.

Really nice place, violent people. WHat the hell! My work buddy and I were sitting on the red cliff jetty having some lunch and we got sworn at by some random kids!

People were throwing kids into the water off the edge of the jetty fully clothed and they werent playen around! Heaps of aboriginals drunk in the park. Hobo's drinking in the park. And then to airport to go home and held up in traffic nealy missing the flight!

WHo else hates brisbane!
