I have a friend that went to NZ he will be back in two weeks, but i need to contact him as i have some bad news for him.
His phone wasnt working when he went over there, and he still hasnt fixed it. I dont know the company that he works for, only what industry he is in.
Have tried a people search and that hasnt worked.
What should i do??

You could try and contact immigration - when traveling between the 2 country's you have to fill out arrival cards/forms and the traveler is meant to put down the address where you are staying in NZ.
Of course not everybody does this but worth a shot. Next step would be to contact the NZ Police and they could do a general search, but only in cases of emergencies....
Last option would be to visit http://www.smarttraveler.gov.au - there is many numbers or services to help you in this situation .

For starters try looking for him in the New Zealand Section and not the Australian Section of Answers.

The Island below Australia is named Tasmania NOT new zealand.
New Zealand is thousands of kl from Australia and we are TWO different countrys.
