I'm Canadian and I've been all over the U.S.

My personal favourite place to go is Florida. Of course the U.S. has something for you no matter what your interests are. Check out a Nascar race a football game a basketball game a concert or whatever.

I usually check out whats happening in different cities and I'll specifically go to a certain place because of a concert or a sporting event.

Florida has beautiful beaches as well as every pro sport in America.

There are many amazing places to visit. If you plan on coming in the fall, New York, NY (and just outside the city) would be an ideal location, the changing color of the foliage is absolutely beautiful. Denver, CO is a great place to visit if you're interested in outdoor activities, it is always sunny, but a bit cold. Denver also offers many winter activities. Savannah, Ga is beautiful and extremely historic, there is a focus on the spirits that haunt the city. Miami and San Diego are going to be the warmest places any time of the year. San Fransisco, Ca is an interesting city to visit, make sure you see Alcatraz. St. Louis, MO also offers a lot of history, plus gambling boats and great food. Good luck!

Depends on what kind of holiday you want - Florida is fab for the themeparks and cheap eating out. Vegas for the shows and a little flutter - u could also visit the grand canyon from Vegas - then there is NY - go to the empire state building etc. If u do go to America, check if the airline does travel miles/points - means you may have enough for a flight to Europe

I guess it depends on what you like, when you're coming, and how long you have to be here.

If you like big cities, go to NYC (I'm biased on this one!), LA, Chicago, Boston...

If you want something more natural, go to Colorado and go through the Rocky Mountains. Go to Arizona and go to the Grand Canyon.

I haven't gotten to Oregon yet, but I hear it's gorgeous.

If you're here in winter, New England or Colorado for skiing would be good. Vermont is beautiful.

If you want warm and beachy, Florida or Southern California. I've been told the Florida Keys are nice.

Hawaii and Alaska could be good, but would then limit your options for travel to other states.

Montana is beautiful, and Yellowstone National Park is there - partly. It covers more than one state.

Once you figure out what kind of vacation you want, that will narrow it down for you a little. Have fun!

Hello mate, I emigrated to the US from London a few months back and I love it here (i'm in New Hampshire, just across the state border from Boston).

It's hard to tell you where to visit without knowing exactly what kind of vacation you're looking for. So, i'll go out on a limb and say Las Vegas.

The Big Sur, Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe offer exceptional scenery. Some of it depends if you are going to drive. We do LOVE our cars here.

Any cities that call to you? We can point you to the fun things if you are a little more specific! You will have a great time.
