Hey, it's a known fact... the strengthening of the Philippine peso is not real... somebody is manipulating the rate and is somehow making tons of cash. Gas prices aren't going down as it should with the dollar rate so low. Prices of other basic commodoties are still on the rise.

So, people, let's all join hands and pray for the quick recovery of the US dollar. Let's all pray for the REAL people we should be praying for... the overseas Filipino worker sending almost their entire salaries to their families at home.

In the running theme of "man vs woman" here, here's a list of things a woman can do that would seem inappropriate or just plane wierd if a man did the same...
-women can actually leave a dinner table and head for the bathroom in groups.
-women can stay in a room for hours and try on each other's wardrobe.
-women can pour lava-hot wax on their legs, then rip hair right off of their skin and still be afraid of a spider. (seinfeld)
-women can demand equal opportunities at work, education and veto-power, but still expect men to give up their seat in a crowded bus for them.
-women can drive a car, apply make-up on their faces, have a conversation on hands-free cellphone and drink coffee on the road all at the same time.
-women have the ability to get mad at a guy who just broke-up with one of their woman friends. (Guys would usually get friendlier with them so they have a chance at "inheriting the goods")
-Women can be against death penalty and pro-abortion at the same time.

Here are the scenarios:

1. A woman/mother carries her baby in her arms.
2. A man/daddy carries his baby in his arms.

Here's the question: Which do you think is pleasing to the eye?

I know all about mood swings...I live with a girl whose mood swings are legendary - she could go from hot to cold to hot in seconds, no warning! She could accelerate from sweetness to acidity without any provocation but with such masterful skill...you just don't know what's coming your way!!!

I'm really curious if guys are like this too. If you must know, both my bf and I do not have mood swings. I just want to know, that's all.

A newly deceased man, David, stands at the pearly gates. St. Peter tells him that he cannot go to heaven right away because he cheated on his income taxes. The only way he might get into heaven would be to sleep with a stupid, ugly woman for the next five years and enjoy it. David decides that this is a small price to pay for an eternity in heaven.

So off he goes with an ugly, stupid woman, while he pretends to be happy. As he walks along, he sees his friend Steve up ahead - with an even uglier woman. When he asks what's going on, Steve
replies, "I cheated on my income taxes and scammed the government out of a lot of money." They both shake their heads in understanding and figure that they might as well hang out together to help pass the time.

David, Steve, and their two ugly women are walking along, minding their own business when they see someone who looks like their old friend Don up ahead. He is with an absolutely gorgeous woman who looks like a supermodel/centerfold. Stunned, David and Steve approach the man and discover that it is their friend Don. They ask him how he got this unbelievable goddess, while they're stuck with these God-awful women.

Don replies, "I have no idea, but I'm definitely not complaining. This has been absolutely the best time of my life, and I have had five years of the best sex any man could hope to look forward to. There is only one thing that I can't seem to understand. Everytime we finish having sex, she rolls over and murmurs to herself, "Damn income taxes!"

we could promote the philippines as the christmas destination of the world where christmas starts officially on september 1 of every year and ends on the feast of three kings. each province could have a festival or activity related to the season. we could have it in the guinness book of world record as the country with the longest christmas season in the world.

Apparently, this is an effort to help the OFWs families cope with the higher prices and less income because of the superficial rise of the peso. An email I received added this paragraph as kind of an afterthought:

"This is our (OFW) united effort in terms of monetary value. Which the government "seems" to neglect for the very reason that we are not united... and they can step on our nose.. but for as long as we can endure the pain... we should not resort to this option. Unless otherwise kailangan mo nang ibagsak ang huling baraha.."

What do you think? Will this be detrimental to us?

And OFWs out there... will you support this cause?

Thank you. ^_^

a family atmosphere (No smoking or beer) "coffee house" where you could come on weekends and weekend nights
to drink soda, coffee, tea, lemon aid....have some chips or a sandwhich
and listen to "Live accustic folk music of the 60's and 70's"?
Or is that a thing of the past here in the Philippines that would not go over well?
