Hey, it's a known fact... the strengthening of the Philippine peso is not real... somebody is manipulating the rate and is somehow making tons of cash. Gas prices aren't going down as it should with the dollar rate so low. Prices of other basic commodoties are still on the rise.

So, people, let's all join hands and pray for the quick recovery of the US dollar. Let's all pray for the REAL people we should be praying for... the overseas Filipino worker sending almost their entire salaries to their families at home.

GO-DOLLAR-GO-DOLLAR-GO-DOLLAR-GO!!!!!

Hey look up!!! There, you see her? I guess someone who answered here didn't see the humor in your question. Seems really mad, too. :D

Personally, I don't even notice the exchange rates anymore. What I do notice is when the lady I buy potatoes from says, "ay miss, kinse na po per piraso" (miss, it's fifteen per piece). If the economy is really going up, prices should go down. But for some reason, prices here keep going up, despite the economy supposedly going up. Leave it to the Philippines to defy the Laws of Economics and Supply and Demand.

Crispin and Basilio, where have you gone?

only means PI doesn't need dollars that much... we have too much supply... do not send money and there will be demand... and demand will push the ex-rate...
