I don't know weather to wash the dish or fight with my tita to let her wash the dish. Dapat ako nalang hugasan ng plato. But since I don't live with her, she probably will wash it. But I always wash my own dish and other peoples dish because that's my way. So I guess she will tell me to leave it because she will wash it. Do you think if I wash my dish fast enough that she will not tell me to leave it? Somtimes, even though my titas have maid or helpers, I still want to wash my dish. Should I fight with them so I can wash my dish?

I am a US citizen. My wife and child are filipino, and living in the Philippines. I am planning to go to the Philippines soon. I was unaware that in order to get a visa one must have a return ticket. I bought a one-way ticket because we are not sure of the exact date of my daughter and wife's visas to the US are final. We only know that it will be about three months. My question is: "is there any way I can still get a visa?" I am leaving really soon.

Please don't answer by saying how westerners and other nationalities value such items as well. True, Americans may be more materialistic, but for the most part they an afford those items. Some Filipinos forsake purchasing basic necessities such as food, medicine, education and investments for iPods, the hottest cellphones, clubs and fashions--on installment??? Wazzup wid dat?

ok so check this... whenever I go out to the malls with my american friends... they always check out cute girls and say many comments.. you know.. kinda rude. But them when I went to the philippines, my pinoys friends over there barely look at cute girls and do not make any comments at all. I'm pinoy and I'm not the type of person to make any comments when I see something attractive. But when I'm with my friends from chicago.. GRABE NAMAN, ANG BASTOS SILA!! mayroong ko TFC, TFC subscriber ako ehh. Anyways, I don't always understand all the tagalog words, naintindihan ko maraming magsalita, pero, I cannot catch all of it. I always watch this one telenovela with anne curtis and Sam Milby, Natatawa ako si Sam ksi he is an english speaker and when he speaks in tagalog, it sort of reminds me of myself. It doesn't right, but I think I can speak it without having that american accent, napapraktis ako so hindi naman marinig akong accent. I wish TFC had english captions, cuz that would help tremendously. Nanood ako ng GMA na rin. HAY SUS Mariosep, mahirap naman magintindihan, ang balis naman nakausap. Its hard to catch everything. anyways, does it help if i watch the show and then keep asking for the translation of the words? I sound desparate, cuz i am, i need help talaga. Natatakot ko, when I return back to pinas, I cant speak tagalog yet. wawa naman ako. I want to speak tagalog talaga. and understand everything. I need to bond with my relatives

I really need to speak the tagalog dialect. Eto ba ang story ko. I was born in the Philippines, nalalis ako when I was 3 years old. So all my life I was raised in Chicago. I returned back to the philippines in October this year, it has been 6 years since my last visit. Now, I want to return back there ksi, maxado magsaya ko. Bumalik ko sa pinas in December, but I want to make sure when I return back. matatas lang ko magtagalog. Sorry, I'm trying hard to correctly write the Tagalog Dialect. I feel embarassed that I have to speak english to everyone, when I am a full blooded filipino. I feel like when I was there, everyone expects me to speak tagalog tagala. Mahirap naman magsilta Eh.. now, I'm napakratis lang ko every day, I watch TFC, I work on Rosetta stone, I read the english tagalog dictonary, and I chat in tagalog with pinoy kabigan. At least I try. Even though my wrting is not good. But I want to know if I keep up what I do, will I be fluent by next year?

Why in the world did voters elect Imelda Marcos and her relatives after her family destroyed the country? I'm not sure if any of them are still in office, but how could they ever have been after Ferdinand died? Please don't give obvious answers like "money". There had to have been plenty of voters who chose them. Did they forget about her shoes and awful personality ?

I have met many, many filipinas on line, you know from all the Internet cafes there wanting a kano and a way out. The players and con artists that cheat and steal as their income. I have learned many things. I can hire agencies to check them out but still can not be 100% positive if it is love or just a game. Is there a sure fire way to know if the Filipina is real or just wants a sugar daddy? Many would say, go there and learn, but that is not proof if she is real with her feelings.
