Somehow, the tuyo here is not the same. It's missing something.

Just a word of caution! Tuyo is too high in salt too much of it is bad for you also. It increases your sodium and increases your Blood Pressure. I used to love Danggit from Cebu from stopped it. It is also a dried fish.
Why dont you ask the American Embassy or the airlines you are riding? it is better than get embarrassed or pay a big fine!
Your neighbors will hate you if you cook that especially if they arent Filipinos!

a balikbayan box box full of tuyo? thats funny. do they ever go bad?
and no you wont get arrested but they might just throw em away. you cant lie about what's inside the box either cuz you know they'd be able to smell it, even if you wrap them with tons of dyaryo lol.

I know people who bring all sorts of food back from PH, even cooked fish, so dried salted fish (tuyo) should be no problem.

Wouldn't it be nice to share those tuyo with your family and friends and even to those people you don't know.

Mabuhay!

You will not be arrested but your Tuyo will be thrown out, so don't waste your money.
