Best in terms of location, room size, bed comfortability, facilities & of course friendly staff service.

Please name only one hotel each for KL & Penang. Do not give me your top 3 hotels in each location or anything similar as this will only increase my difficulty when making a choice. You could give your reason for choosing that hotel if you wish.

I'm trying to plan a trip through malaysia and I've found that most hotels only have 2 twin or 2 single beds. These rooms are only for 2 people.

Since I'm travelling in a group of 4 adults, we would like to have 1 room with 2 double beds. This is the norm in North America. (2 parents and 2 adult kids.)

Could anyone suggest a place to stay in Kuala Lumpur?

I will be driving up to Kuantan from Spore over the weekend. Was wondering how was the flood situation in Malaysia? Is it advisable to go by this route -> JB -- kota tinggi -- rompin -- pekan -- kuantan? OR safer to go by 2nd link -- ayer hitam -- keluang -- mersing -- rompin -- pekan -- kuantan. how many pesos can be exchanged for the local currency or the US dollar? malaysia has a better rate for exchange from peso to dollar compared to the philippines. this means that one can buy more if he exchanged cash in malaysia. please let me know about legalities of carrying cash to malaysia or singapore. is it legal to hand carry a big volume of peso to be converted there?
