Damai beach is one of my favourites, the Holiday Inn down there have their own private beach which I've been to a few times. But be-warned there are many babi gemok berok orang putih there. I myself am a Matt Saleh and it's quite off putting to see the 150kg plus bodies there!
You would be better off next door on the public beach which almost feels like an exclusive beach because not many of the locals use it because of the sheer heat and humidity.
PS I also dont know who is playing that music when the girl with the su-su bisar comes out.

Damai Beach is the best..
- private beach
- nice white beach
- near to the rainforest
i would recommend u to go there..
