If ur exiting point from Indonesia is Medan u can enter Malaysia via Melaka/ Johor Bharu / Port dickson. This would cost u ranging about RM 80 to RM 100 only. Have nice holiday here & wellcome to Malaysia

why not fly? it is getting so cheap now to fly...
and which part of indonesia are you departing and which part of malaysia are you arriving? It makes a difference if you are departing from Bali (extreme east of Indonesia) to Kedah (extreme north of Malaysia) and departing from Medan (Indonesia) to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
You may wanna be specific...

travel by sea using the illegal way will cost u around RP1million rupiah to 1.5mm
if not the price will be around RM 50-100
