I'm trying to plan a trip through malaysia and I've found that most hotels only have 2 twin or 2 single beds. These rooms are only for 2 people.
Since I'm travelling in a group of 4 adults, we would like to have 1 room with 2 double beds. This is the norm in North America. (2 parents and 2 adult kids.)
Could anyone suggest a place to stay in Kuala Lumpur?

Good question. That's how hotels make profits.
Most hotels have family room/suite to cater for 2 adults & 2 children. But since there are 4 adults in your group, you may have to book 2 rooms with interconnecting doors.
It's rare to find KL hotels to cater for 4 adults in one room. Like you, I tried in vain to search for one.

Its a norm to hotels in malaysia to have 2 twin or 2 single bed.
I think if u r travelling with 4 adult i recommend u to stay at a service apartment. Normally service apartment will consist 1 master bedroom & 2 single room.
The most convinient place near the KLCC twin tower are
- Derby Park.
They are some other areas which offer this service as well but i recommended the above.

Personally to suggest a hotel in KL with 2 double beds will be quite difficult but may i suggest to you that there is one resort which do have 2 double beds in all their deluxe rooms and which also could perfectly fit for up to 4 adults in the room.
The resort however, not in Kuala Lumpur, but its about 45km North from Kuala Lumpur and its about 40 minutes drive via the Gombak- Bentong Highway. This highway could also bring you to Genting Highland.

hi check out the fee on the less than website. in the adventure that your funds is approximately USD50 to USD, there are lots in Penang. Ex adequate: a million. Copthorne Orchid hotel - 4 Stars (from USD56) 2. Paradise Sandy Bay hotel - 4 Stars (from USD fifty 8) and greater... there is even a funds hotel in case you're searching for the cheap ones. appreciate your holiday

Try YMCA KL. They do might provide for travelers.
