is there any restriction on carrying foreign currency such as the philippine peso to malaysia or singapore?

how many pesos can be exchanged for the local currency or the US dollar? malaysia has a better rate for exchange from peso to dollar compared to the philippines. this means that one can buy more if he exchanged cash in malaysia. please let me know about legalities of carrying cash to malaysia or singapore. is it legal to hand carry a big volume of peso to be converted there?

Going in2 malaysia u can a max of USD10k, & infact u can good rate for any curreny here in malaysia

yup.
i dont think there is a limit bringing in cash to malaysia.
but there is a limit bringing out ringit malaysia.
