Have you ever gotten a refund from priceline?

I was thinking about this the other day...but I really can't think of a more male dominated job than an airline pilot. I've seen female postmen (postwomen?), truck drivers, garbagemen (garbagewomen?), firefighters, lawyers, etc...but I have never seen or heard of a female airline pilot. Why is this? I've even heard of female Air Force pilots, but never commercial airline pilots.

I need a flight out of south Florida for the holidays and the earliest flights I can get home without being kicked out of where I'm staying leave from Palm Beach to NY at 9:50pm and then the connecting flight is at 5:40am the next day...that means you have to sleep in the airport right? What happens to your luggage? Staying here one more night would cost the equivalent to two plane tickets!

That plane looks scary to me. It's like they're trying to take a serious form of transportation and turn into something fun. I think the airline industry is just asking for trouble. It seems like the Airbus 380 would house a more uncontrolled environment. And there's too much excess that doesn't direct itself at the safety and performance of an air craft.

I was flying on an airplane yesterday (US AIRWAYS) and was uncomfortable because my drink had been sitting on the tray in front of me for a couple hours and hadn't been picked up yet by a stewardess. I rang the service bell and when the stewardess came over I asked if she could take my cup. She did but not without snapping at me, "That button is for emergencies only!"

Is this wrong? I figured it was because the actual button I pressed had a picture of a stewardess holding a cup on it. I figured, she's the steward and here's my cup. Is this button really only for emergencies? I was under the impression it was for service. Should I complain about this stewardess?

I really hope someone can help me!! I've been living in the UK for 2.5 years and have decided to move back home to Cape Town, South Africa. I need to send my excess luggage (50kg) with an airfreight company. My questions is: How do you customs clear personal affects? Is it difficult? Can I do it on my own?
Thanks!!

Okay, I'm 13.
I'm in Indonesia and I'll go for a vacation and visiting my siblings in America.
I'm travelling alone. My parents will need the Unaccompained Minors, UM for me.

The problem is, I'm bored.
I'm afraid of my "sit next-to" things.
And, What should I do there?!
And will the UM carry my suitcases? Because, I bring 2.

i.e. is it possible to buy a ticket from the country you intend to fly to (and get it sent over via post), rather than from the country you are flying from...
