My mother in law is only spanish-speaking and she has a cross country flight with 2 layovers in July that we need to get her on. We are flying from another city separately and will meet her at the final destination to help her find her luggage, etc. However, we are concerned with the need for her to find her way through the airport, check-in, get off the plane and find her connecting flight, etc. We are trying to call flights and ask if they have someone that can guide her around, or may even exaggerate that she has a disability to see if we can get the help necessary. Has anyone dealt with this before and can give me any tips?? Thanks!

When the airline says you have to check in 2 hours before departure that's with luggage correct? if you only have carry on then it doesn't matter?

Which credit card gives you the best chance of earning an air trip someone within the US? I'm tired of plans that make redeeming an air flight almost impossible with their out of reach points system. Are United and Delta's credit cards good about making redeemable flights within reach of cardholders? I need a new credit card that rewards me with flights if you spend on average $1000 a month. I just got an itinerary for traveling to Osaka Japan. On the return flight, I was not given a seat #. I looked on the website and it said seating is not available at this time. My travel agent says she kept a seat for me but that the airline is not allowing assigned seating at this time (United Airlines) that at the airport I have to request the seat. Does this mean I'm on standby?

I have a flight reserved from WashingtonDC to Chicago. I have to change the flight in NewYork. I have got only 30 min to change my flight. I dont have a seat confirmed for the flight from NewYork to Chicago. Will I be able to make it in 30 min?
Last time I was unable to get a seat and got diverted to the next flight. If I call the Airways they say that I will be able to make it. But I am not sure.

Something came up and I had to return home and now I have two flights that are scheduled for this coming week that are non-refundable and non-transferable.
