Different airlines have different change policies. In most cases, a British Airways ticket will only allow you to make changes if and only if you have already used the outbound portion of your trip. If your ticket is totally unused, you wont be allowed to make any changes, even if you are willing to pay for the difference in the fare. But don't take this as the end-all, be-all of it all. It all depends on the kind of ticket you have. Also, if it's an e-ticket, it's easire to make changes - you can do it over the phone. If it's a paper ticket, unless the flight is set for a week or two, you realy have to go to the airport and have it changed. Hope this helps..:)

It really depends on how did you get your ticket, that either purchased directly from airline (on-line shopping via travel agent should be the same), or indirectly from travel agent. If you bought it directly from airline (again, something like Orbitz, are the same), you have to contact directly with your airline customer service, and be patient to be held at your phone line. If you purchased via travel agent, you must contact them. Either way you have to pay for an extra charge with the alteration of itinerary. Good luck to you, other than money, somehow it would be tricky to connect those flights with the more desirable time.

You have to contact BA or your travel agency that issued you the ticket, most BA tickets (coach class) are non-refundable and non-changeable. If it is changeable there are restrictions to consider like the dates or even time of day. Intl tickets usually cost $200 or more change fee plus difference in fare.
