I am currently studying abroad and had a travel break in my program. Something came up and I had to return home and now I have two flights that are scheduled for this coming week that are non-refundable and non-transferable. It was suggested to me that I sell them but I have no idea how to go about doing this. Does anyone know of some site that I may be able to use in order to sell these flights?

One of the flights would be a last minute flight from Milan to Paris on April 5th, and the other is from Paris to Copenhagen on April 10th.

When I spoke to the airline they told me that an option was to sell it to someone else and have the name on it changed, I just do not know how to go about selling it as I do not know anyone personally to sell it to and cannot find a venue for it online.

You can't do that. If the ticket is not transferrable, that means you can't change the name on it--- anyone you sell it to must have exactly the same name as you. You can call the airline and cancel the tickets though--- usually you pay a $100 fee for this and you don't get a refund but you can at least use the remaining value of the tickets for future flights.

i don't think it's possible anymore with all the new regulations, and you not being able to change the name on the account--however, you might call them and ask 1) if you can change the name, should you find an alternate passenger and 2) if you can delay and/or change the dates and/or get a credit for future travel in some way. at least call them and ask them how you might salvage some of your money.

Dcgirl is correct you can't sell them. Nontransferable means you cant change the name on the ticket or transfer the ticket to someone else.
