My boyfriends flight is due in Thursday night at 11:00. He is flying with one stop in Chicago. The weather forcast says its going to rain. Do airlines cancel or delay a flight b/c of rain? If they delay, for how long?

Can anyone tell me anything about ACT airlines, Atlasjet, or Bestair airlines? WIth the safety concerns with the fuel tanks and the chance of rapid decomression of the cabin, is this really a safe plane? or is it another attempt by Airbus like the concorde that really had issues and wasn't taken from service until an accident happened.

I'm having a discussion regarding what the best seats are for long haul economy seats in an airplane. Although I would prefer exit row seats for the extra leg room, my wife insists that exit row seats don't recline, which is her preferred feature. Does anybody know for sure if the exit row seats can recline?

It's been quite a long time since I've had the luxury of flying on a plane (I grew up travelling overseas with my parents as a child ), but it's been so long that I have no idea how it's done per se. Anyhow, the question is as follows:

Depart: INDIANAPOLIS, 2:10PM
Arrive: NEWARK EWR, 4:15PM
Depart: NEWARK EWR, 6:25PM
Arrive: ST JOHNS NFLD, 10:56PM

Now with that information given, are the times presented based on the airport I arrive in, or is it a generalized time for where the person has bought the ticket from?? Like, is my wait in Newark 2 hours once I arrive before leaving to St.John's??

Next, I was told on my itinerary I could find what plane to search for to find where my seat would be.. I have googled every portion of my details and nothing has came up. Example:

Flight: CO*3263
*Operated by EXPRESSJET AIRLINES INC doing business as CONTINENTAL EXPRESS
Class: V
Equipment: ERJ-145

Any help or kind explanations would put me at ease and be appreciated!

What does it take to become an Airline Pilot? What are the best Schools? HOw much does it cost? Is it easy to find a job? what are the pays? Is it east to move up in Ranks? What are the schedules? and most imporatanly is it worth persuing? I'd love to hear your say, i am currently evaluating my options and becoming a pilot is still in the running.
