i travel every week. at least 3 times a week. lately ive been on those smaller planes alot. i know its because its shorter distances. for instance from EWR to IAD, is only an hour so they use the 50 passenger planes which is either embr or crj.. my only concern about these planes are, that when taking off and landing, and even when doing turns, i feel like im going to die literally. i just dont feel safe in these planes. u feel every single bump. i have anxiety attacks before the plane takes off, but i have no choice but to fly...i just wnat some to reassure me that these planes are safe

Hi, this is my first time flying alone, I've flown with a couple buddies and family before. But this is the first time for me by myself. So I have a couple question.

I booked my flight online via Travelocity. I am told that I have to confirm 24 hours before my flight. Would I do that online, and then when I get to the airport, I have to check in at the airline check-in to check in my bags, get my boarding pass. Then, I would step to security gate, get screened, then head for my gate terminal for my flight?

Could someone explain to me the steps I have to go through if I missed anything or any things I should be aware of?
How do I know the number of the baggage claim area?
What steps would I follow to get a lost luggage(happened to a friend when we were on a trip)?
About checkin, I would only have to checkin online once, right?

Thanks!

my parents have to spend overnite at tokyo's airport due a 6 hour delay leaving chicago which caused them to miss their scheduled flight from tokyo to bangkok... do airlines offer overnite hotel accomodations since the delay was an airline issue.

Typically one would drive to say Miami and take a redeye flight. I would like to get up very early and fly from Fort Meyers to another city that has a day flight to London (two connecting day flights). The closest I've been able to find is a early flight to Chicago to take a 9am day flight from Chicago to London. However there is only a 15 minute gap between flights so this can't work. Can anyone figure out a series of day only connections? Note that you are allowed to fly west (save on time due to time zones) or get up very early and drive a bit.

thanks
