I am considering flights to Asia from the US, and have the option of stopping over in Amsterdam or Milan. My only concern of stopping at Milan is if English is easily understood at the airport -- Especially, if I need to change terminals etc.

Thanks.

Mine was in June i was queing up to have my stuff checked at manchester airport and when they used the scanner thing on me the alarm kept going off,so they said can you take your belt off,so i did and it still kept going off.I then had to take my boots off and it was still going off, they then said can you take a seat please, which i did, they took my boots away by this time everyone was looking. When they came back with my boots they realised that in the sole of them was a metal bar thing which was setting the alarm off.I felt like a terrorist, lol. To see more of my embarrising things checkout my 360 blogs theyre on there.

This summer, I am on four Delta flights. My first one is DL 337: LGA-ATL, July 23. It is on a B757-200 (regular, not transcon, unfortunately), and I'm in 29C. This was the first available row in economy when I booked. However, a few days ago, row 28 completely opened up. I would rather sit there, since it's further forward. Rows 26-27 are exit rows. I could change my seat if I would like to.
My questions:
-Is it a good idea? (Where would you rather sit? Row 28-45 ABC-DEF)
-I am in Coach (K). Will there be a change penalty/fee? If so, do you know how much? (I already emailed Delta, and they said I'd have to call them. I'd rather not, so I'll ask here first.)
I have a SkyMiles number, and I could make changes in Itineraries, but I don't know how much it would cost.

My brother and I (both minors) are traveling alone to Miami to meet up with our family to go on a cruise on friday. Our uncle sent us the travel reservation details including conformation number (NWA). How do we get the tickets? Do we just print off the reservations and bring them to the airport? Or is there some way we can print the tickets off the website? Thanks in advance, [marshmallow]. [^.^]

My husband swears American Airlines will not allow him to come home from Colombia South America until 2.13.07, when he asked for 02/6/07. He is leaving on 12/30/06, if he left on 12/26/06 then they said they would allow him to come home on 02/6/07. Has anyone who has experience with international flights ever heard of this? **fyi: my husband does this once or twice a year and this is the same story almost everytime.

The situation with air travel security is that the process has become more strict with more detailed inspections and an increasing number of rules about what you can and cannot take onto an airplane. It has gotten to the point of having to take off your shoes.
So with this kind of scruteny will a man having a full beard run into problems with airport security personnel? Can it result in someone being refused boarding his flight? Are people being profiled or ending up with records in some government office for having a beard?
